Week 3The essentials, without the usual tradeoffs.
The basic flow from an empty log to a finished workout. You can add more structure whenever you want it.
Start blank, use a saved workout, or repeat a recent log.
Search the library, filter by muscle or equipment, and arrange the workout in the order you want.
Enter weight and reps, add RPE or tags if they matter, then mark the set complete.
Your completed workout becomes a log with the sets, notes, volume, and records you earned.
Cruciferous Greens is free, easy to share, works offline, and is designed to keep your training under your control.
Log workouts, build programs, and understand your progress without a trial clock or a paywall around the basics.
Build the workout once and send one link. Whoever opens it sees the whole thing: muscle map, exercises, and a Start button that saves it to their library.
Keep logging when the gym Wi-Fi drops or your signal disappears. Your signed-out workout stays with the browser on your device.
Signing in is optional. Use the app on your device first, then choose whether cross-device sync is useful to you.
Save the workouts you love, organize them into programs, and let the app suggest the next jump, based on your actual history, not a generic chart.
Turn any finished workout into a reusable template, group templates into a program, and track your week-to-week progress through it, in whatever order you train.
When your top set comes in easy (RPE at or under your threshold), the app suggests the next weight. Only for lifts with real logged history, and every suggestion says what it's based on.
Choose fixed pounds or a percentage per jump, set rep ranges for double progression, override any exercise, and schedule deloads. Defaults included if you'd rather not fiddle.
Top set 5 @ RPE 7, your +5 lb rule
Top set 5 @ RPE 8, your +5 lb rule
Top set 5 @ RPE 8, reps climb before the load moves
When a lift comes in easy, Cruciferous Greens suggests the next weight, labeled with exactly what it's based on: your last session, your RPE, your rules. Tap to apply, or ignore it. Nothing changes unless you say so.
Everyone should have access to tools that help them move better in the gym. We shouldn’t be paying for this stuff. Pen and paper are free (or close to), so this is too.
Pitch in directly, or work with Cruciferous Greens coaching. Coaching is separate from the app, and the app is still free whether you train with me or not.
Work together locally in DC or train virtually, with clear programming and decisions grounded in how you actually move and recover.
Practical writing on training, progression, and building tools that respect the work.
